This beautiful piece was popularized by Josh Groban and Westlife in the early 2000s. I have played this piece for numerous wedding ceremonies, primarily as a harp solo, but also as accompaniment to a vocalist or other instrumental soloist. In addition, it works well for background music at any event.
The trio version for harp, violin, and cello was recorded live at a wedding ceremony.
This piece can be played on pedal harp or lever harp.

Lyrics
When I am down, and, oh, my soul, so weary
When troubles come, and my heart burdened be
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence
Until you come and sit awhile with me
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas
I am strong when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas
I am strong when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas
I am strong when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas
I am strong when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be
You raise me up to more than I can be
