I first learned this piece (and wrote my own harp arrangement of it) for the wedding of a couple who met at a Chicago Cubs baseball game. Since then, I've played it for other wedding ceremonies (as a processional and recessional), and for background music at other events - particularly during baseball season!
This piece can be played on pedal harp only.
Lyrics
Take me out to the ball game
Take me out with the crowd
Buy me some peanuts and crackerjacks
I don't care if I never get back
Let me root, root, root
For the home team
If they don't win it's a shame
For it's one, two,
Three strikes you're out
At the old ball game
