This piece was written by the French Baroque composer Jean-Joseph Mouret, the first movement of his "Suite of Symphonies for Brass, Strings and Timpani No. 1." It is well-known as the theme for the PBS series Masterpiece Theatre.

The duet and trio versions below were recorded live at wedding ceremonies.
